About Us: Republic Media Network is India’s most influential new-age media house, headquartered in Noida. Since our launch in 2017, we’ve grown into India’s largest and most dynamic news network — with 4 channels, 10 brands, and a reach of over 450 million people across the country. Now, we’re expanding into education with a bold new initiative: the Republic School of Journalism (RSJ) — a full-time Diploma in Journalism built inside Asia’s largest integrated News Centre . The RSJ Diploma is designed to create future-ready journalists through live newsroom exposure , hands-on learning , and industry mentorship . We are looking for an energetic and highly organized Programme Coordinator to anchor and manage the day-to-day operations of this one-of-a-kind programme. Role Overview: The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the RSJ Diploma Programme on campus. You will work closely with Republic’s newsroom leaders, guest faculty, operational teams, and students to ensure a seamless, real-time learning experience . This is a non-teaching role focused on programme coordination, student management, academic logistics, and newsroom integration . Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day running of the RSJ Diploma Programme on campus Coordinate schedules between newsroom professionals, guest faculty, and students Organize live newsroom activities, field reporting assignments, and studio simulations Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and editorial leadership Oversee student onboarding, attendance, assignments, and assessments Ensure smooth execution of academic calendars, masterclasses, and industry interactions Facilitate guest sessions with senior anchors, editors, and media professionals Support the integration of live Republic newsroom workflows into the student learning experience Maintain high standards of academic discipline, editorial ethics, and professional conduct Prepare reports and feedback on student progress and programme milestones What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar coordination role Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills Deep understanding of the Indian news ecosystem and broadcast/digital workflows Ability to multitask across editorial, operational, and academic coordination responsibilities Passion for nurturing young journalism talent through real-world exposure Prior experience in academic coordination or newsroom training is a plus Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or allied fields (Preferred) Professional certifications or training in project management or education administration will be an advantage Type: Full-time, On-campus (Contractual — with potential for extension based on performance) Start Date: May 1, 2025
