Senior Product Engineer - Frontend Technologies

Job Description : We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer - Frontend who is passionate about creating beautiful, intuitive, and performant web experiences. In this role, you wont just write codeyou'll lead initiatives that shape the way users interact with our platform, mentor engineers, and champion frontend best practices across the team. Youll work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring complex insights to life through seamless and delightful UI experiences. Key Responsibilities : Lead Frontend Development : - Architect, design, and implement highly interactive, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Redux Toolkit. Product Ownership : - Partner with product managers and designers from ideation to launch, translating complex requirements into easy-to-use interfaces. Mentorship & Collaboration : - Guide junior and mid-level engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a high bar for engineering excellence. UX Champion : - Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to refine user experiences, ensuring interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and visually stunning. Technical Excellence : - Ensure code quality through writing clean, well-documented, and well-tested code. Champion best practices in frontend architecture, performance optimization, and maintainability. Continuous Improvement : - Identify opportunities for improvements in tools, processes, and frameworks. Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends. Cross-functional Communication : - Work with backend engineers to design API contracts and integrations that empower rich frontend experiences. Ownership Mentality : - Take initiative and ownership over projects, driving them to completion with minimal oversight. Skills & Experience Required : - 5 years of professional frontend development experience. Strong expertise in : - React (Advanced hooks, context, component architecture) - TypeScript (Static typing, generics, type safety practices) - TailwindCSS (Building responsive and accessible UIs efficiently) - Redux Toolkit (State management, asynchronous workflows) - Experience leading projects or teamsbeing a tech lead or primary driver for significant product initiatives. - Deep passion for great UX and a strong eye for detail and design consistency. - Strong fundamentals in frontend performance optimization, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library. - Excellent communication skills you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Agile Mindset comfortable working in an iterative, fast-paced environment. - Problem Solver proactive in finding creative solutions and improving existing architectures. - Adaptable and Curious eager to explore new technologies and challenge conventional approaches. - Experience with component libraries like Storybook. - Knowledge of Next.js for server-side rendering and performance optimizations. - Familiarity with Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end testing. - Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio showcasing real-world frontend projects. - Experience integrating with complex REST or GraphQL APIs. - Understanding of micro-frontends and modular frontend architectures.
