Job's mission As a Laboratory Technician at ASM, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the advanced tools and equipment that drive innovation in our Epitaxy (Epi SiC) processes. From preventive maintenance to hands-on troubleshooting, your work will directly support our engineers and ensure smooth, safe, and efficient lab operations. You’ll be part of a passionate team that thrives on collaboration, precision, and pushing the boundaries of what’s technologically possible. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on corrective and preventive maintenance on ASM process equipment and metrology tools. Support facilities upgrades and assist with the installation of new equipment. Track and manage the procurement, logistics, and cleaning of spare parts. Assist with loading of tools and monitoring tool performance. Collaborate with process engineers on tool-related activities. Document maintenance work clearly and accurately. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with 3 years of relevant work experience. Technical high school diploma with specific master's training or relevant experience in equipment maintenance. Experience with capital equipment, ideally in cleanroom environments or related industries. Strong mechanical skills and hands-on mentality. Familiarity with vacuum technology and working with chemicals. Able to read technical drawings and process flow diagrams. Fluent in spoken and written English. Willingness to work in shifts. Awareness of safety procedures in semiconductor or lab environments. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the semiconductor industry. Knowledge of gas lines, heaters, and pump systems.
