Low Voltage/Cable Technician

Job Description Job Description Project Description Working as a member of a project team, the Technician I is primarily responsible for enhancing over-all job site productivity and ensuring high-quality work The Technician will work with multiple aspects of the cable installation process including OSP, ISP, rack, stack, patch, pathway construction, rough-in, routing, Telecommunication Room build-out, cable terminations, labeling, and grounding Installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process: OSP, ISP, Rack, Stack, Patch, Fusion Splicing, Testing Reads and interprets all floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets Performs system testing and troubleshooting as required Terminates, labels, tests and troubleshoots optical fiber and copper installations Proactively oversee and lead job site organization and basic housekeeping maintenance Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Maintain satisfactory compliance with customer security requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required Background Knowledge: Knows termination color codes Worked in commercial cabling environment Fiber experience Datacenter buildout experience Experience installing cable trays Labor background Must have basic tools and steel toed/ composite boots Qualifications: Excellent organizational and communication skills Positive attitude/ Strong work ethic Seeking company growth Willing to consent to a background check Ability to pass a drug screen Positions Available: Tech 1 (0-1 years' experience): $20-$21 Tech 2 (1-2 years' experience): $21-$23 Tech 3 (2-4 years' experience): $23-26 Additional: Option to enroll in 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision Project is located in Chandler, Arizona Hours: 6am start. 60 hour weeks (expect over time) Benefits: Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
