SHAPE THE FUTURE WITH US We offer you a motivating environment with exciting projects and would appreciate to welcome you in our team as a: MATERIALS APPLICATION ENGINEER - ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST - AVIATION DOMAIN Job Location: Brindisi, Apulia, Italy The selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines / Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for the activities related to R&D, test, analysis and characterization of materials, verify & validation development processes of new materials, definition of technical specifications of special treatments, failure analysis/investigation on damaged and/or NC components, partnering with other Departments (i. e. Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc. ) and directly interfacing with suppliers. Qualification Requirements Materials/Nanotechnology/ Engineering Master Degree or similar background; Expertise in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies; Broad knowledge about metallic materials and experience on characterization tests; Proficiency in English, fluent in Italian; Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Desired Skills Commitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, reliability; Self-organization/self-motivation oriented mindset; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent team-work attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills; Availability for business travels (short & long term travels); Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines.
