Data Analyst - SQL/Python

We are seeking talented and detail-oriented Data Analysts (Junior & Senior levels) to join our dynamic team at Optimum Data Analytics. The ideal candidates will have a strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and a solid foundation in data modeling, statistics, and reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights and support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights. - Develop data-driven solutions and build logical frameworks to solve key business problems. - Write and execute SQL and/or Python scripts to implement business rules and create automated data pipelines. - Visualize and communicate results effectively using Excel and PowerPoint, delivering insights to clients and stakeholders. - Apply statistical and advanced modeling techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, Maintain clear and concise documentation of business rules and data processes. - Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure data consistency and clarity. - (For senior profiles) Mentor junior analysts and contribute to data strategy and governance initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications : Role : Junior Data Analyst (14 years): - Strong experience in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint - Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis - Basic understanding of statistical methods - Experience in reporting and dashboard creation is a plus (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or related field Senior Data Analyst (5 years): - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced data transformation techniques - Strong experience in statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics - Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes - Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) - Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders, present insights, and drive data strategy - Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior team members (ref:hirist.tech)
