Today, SIL holds the ISO 9001:2008 certification and is the largest exporter in the Indian starch Description : This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Windows System Administrator located in Ahmedabad. The Senior Windows System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows systems, performing system administration tasks, troubleshooting, providing technical support, and overseeing server administration. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring system security, performing regular system updates, and resolving technical issues : - Expertise in Windows System Administration and overall System Administration skills. - Strong Troubleshooting abilities - Proficiency in Server Administration - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Experience in the manufacturing or starch industry is desirable. - Strong understanding and practical experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies. - Significant experience in configuring and managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems. - Extensive experience with virtualization technologies, specifically Hyper-V and VMware. - Hands-on experience in managing Windows server environments and services on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management. - Experience in implementing and utilizing System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) for monitoring and alerting. - Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing various backup solutions and developing comprehensive disaster recovery plans. - Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
