Softobiz - Camunda Subject Matter Expert - BPM Implementation

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Camunda Developer with a strong background in software development and deep expertise in Camunda BPM implementations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java and Spring Boot, experienced in workflow design using BPMN, DMN, and CMMN standards, and comfortable working with cloud-native applications on AWS. This role will involve developing and optimizing business process automation solutions, integrating with modern cloud and container platforms, and supporting enterprise-grade workflow Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy business workflows using Camunda BPM (Platform 7/8). - Implement and optimize BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN models in line with business requirements. - Integrate Camunda solutions with Java-based and Python-based backend services. - Architect and implement scalable, cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services (Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge). - Develop RESTful APIs for workflow integrations and ensure robust database interaction using SQL-based systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora). - Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes. - Participate in workflow migration projects and ensure smooth transition of business processes. - Apply event-driven architectural patterns and messaging systems (SNS, SQS, EventBridge) in workflow design. - Support and mentor teams on Camunda best practices and development standards. - Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and scalable Qualifications : - 5 years of professional software development experience. - 3 years of hands-on experience implementing Camunda BPM solutions. - Strong knowledge of Camunda Platform 7 and/or 8 (Modeler, Operate, Optimize, Cockpit, Tasklist). - Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for workflow orchestration. - Experience with BPMN 2.0, DMN, CMMN modeling. - Good understanding of Python application architecture and its integration into workflows. - Proven experience working with AWS cloud services for workflow-based solutions. - Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and database management systems (SQL). - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed transaction management. - Experience in B2B procurement or supply chain industries is a plus. - Prior consulting or technical leadership experience is highly desirable. - Camunda Certified Developer certification is an added Skills : - Languages : Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript - Frameworks : Spring Boot, Spring Framework - Workflow Tools : Camunda BPM, BPMN 2.0, DMN, CMMN - Cloud Platforms : AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, etc.) - Integration : REST APIs, Messaging Systems (SNS, SQS, EventBridge) - Databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora - Containerization : Docker, Kubernetes (ref:hirist.tech)
