Highlight the importance of this role in building and maintaining critical portal and integration solutions.] Role Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Team Member to join our IT team, focusing on the development and maintenance of our critical web portals and integration solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of API and portal development using the latest .NET 8 technologies. You will play a key role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of our applications, collaborating closely with frontend developers and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality and efficient solutions. Experience within the insurance domain or payments ecosystem would be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable RESTful APIs using .NET 8 (C#). - Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly and efficient web portals leveraging .NET 8 technologies (e.g., ASP.NET Core MVC/Razor Pages, Blazor). - Optimize application performance, ensuring high responsiveness and efficient resource utilization. - Implement and maintain robust security measures, including authentication, authorization, and adherence to security best practices (OAuth 2.0, JWT, etc.). - Collaborate effectively with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs and user interfaces. - Write clean, well-documented, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards. - Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to standards. - Perform debugging and implement comprehensive unit testing to guarantee the reliability and functionality of developed components. - Work closely and collaboratively with DevOps teams for the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and cloud deployment strategies. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in .NET technologies and best practices. - Contribute to the architectural design and planning of portal and integration solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to APIs and web portals. Qualifications & Skills : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and RESTful APIs using .NET technologies (preferably .NET Core or .NET 5/6/7/8). - Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem. - Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Blazor) is a plus. - Deep understanding of application performance optimization techniques and scalability considerations. - Solid knowledge of security best practices for web applications and APIs, including authentication (e.g., OAuth 2.0, SAML), authorization (e.g., RBAC, ABAC), and data protection. - Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and mocking frameworks. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
