Senior Chartered Building Surveyor

Our Client a well established and growing building consultancy are seeking to recruit a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their award-winning team based in Warrington. You’ll be working on: Project Management & Contract Administration of high-profile workspace fit-outs and refurbishments with contract values ranging from £50K up to £20M. General commercial building surveying duties including Acquisition Surveys, Schedules of Condition, Project Monitoring. Preparing and negotiating Schedules of Dilapidations, on behalf of both landlords and tenants. Who we’re looking for: A highly competent surveyor who provides an exceptional standard of service. A confident leader who can train and mentor junior colleagues. Someone effective in maintaining and growing client relationships. Someone experienced in presenting and pitching for new business. Someone with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. Someone who is confident and able to represent the business at industry events. Technical Requirements A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. Experience working for a commercial Building Consultancy practice. Experience of Contract Administration and Cost Control. Experience of the Law of Dilapidations. Working knowledge and experience administering the JCT suite of contracts. What we offer Salary commensurate with experience. Bonus - You will be part of a discretionary bonus arrangement that is announced annually in May. Flexible working policy - 5 day (37.5hrs) working week with core hours 10am-3pm, 1 day work from home a week and an early finish on Fridays. Holidays - 25 days plus bank holidays, and we shut the office between Christmas and New Year without the need to use your annual leave allowance.
