They are looking for a Senior Engineer - Vehicle Dynamics - Tyre Specialist to join their team on a long term rolling contract basis working 42 hours per week Job Description Accountable for Tyre and effects on Vehicle level performance across the platform. Responsible for Tire Targets, CAE models development, Physical tuning activity and Supplier management To Plan Tire CAE and Testing within the program milestones Lead Tire Integration with stakeholders beyond VD Proactive collaboration with Program Leads and CAE/Performance engineers is key for success in the role Core Requirements V. Dynamics / relevant for role ideally 8 Years experience High Theoretical Tire characteristics and dynamics knowledge High CAE Tire models knowledge and their MBS analysis integration High knowledge of Tire Testing and performance tuning Good Theoretical vehicle dynamics knowledge Good understanding of Customer Subjective Perception from Objective Performance data Good knowledge of data processing sw (e.g. MatLab) Why work through Contechs?
