Techniche Global are supporting leading automotive manufacturer to appoint a Design Engineer to join their Genuine Accessories team. Location : Cranfield, Bedfordshire Duration : 12-month rolling contract Rate : £27.94 PAYE annual equivalent of £56,662. If opting out of holiday pay the rate increases to £32.13 per hour (annual equivalent of £65,000 per annum) Type : Hybrid (3 days on-site, Monday to Friday, with early finish on Fridays)This exciting role offers an opportunity to work across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Trim, and Electrical . Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the successful integration of accessories. Ensure all development processes align with company's engineering standards. Ensure development meets technical , cost , and timing targets. Support accessories adoption for Special Versions (SV) vehicles. Support the team with any technical inquiries, ensuring smooth workflow. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Honours). Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive OEM and/or relevant supplier experience. Proficiency in CAD (preferably NX ).
