Salisbury - Buyer - Salary upto £30k - Manufacturing My client are leaders in manufacturing and are innovators in the industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands of product development and are looking for a Buyer. Main Duties: Order Management : Efficiently order and schedule parts driven by the MRP system. MRP Accuracy : Ensure the MRP system accurately reflects stock dates, locations, and quantities. Supplier Coordination : Place purchase orders with suppliers and monitor their progress. Shipping Arrangements : Coordinate the timely shipping of components to meet supplier demands. Problem Solving : Locate hard-to-find parts within the supply chain. Supplier Negotiations : Assist in negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs and terms. Forecast Collaboration : Collaborate with the sales team to produce and communicate order forecasts to our suppliers Key Skills and Experience: Previous experience within a Buyer/Purchaser type role Experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment The salary for the position is upto £30k depending on experience.
