Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with a family run engineering company that specialises in designing and manufacturing bespoke food processing equipment and processes for the food industry. Due to continuous growth their require a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and developing new products, creating and modifying drawings, and using CAD software to design components and systems. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be responsible for Designing bespoke machinery and fabrications to customers spec. Measuring up and determining specifications with Customers on site Ensuring designs promote ease of manufacturing and support manufacturing process Producing detailed production drawings Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience in Machine Building/Designing Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Mechanical Engineering skills Proficient in SolidWorks Experience in the food industry Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes Full driving license In return for a great salary, pension, healthcare and lots more Skills: Design solidworks welding automation
