Estimator

Our client is seeking a Estimator to prepare and issue estimates to secure high profile contracts within the roofing and cladding industry for our valued existing clients. Responsibilities Engage with clients to clarify tender queries Be conversant with marketplace specifications, general industry materials Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for prices and delivery periods and with the management team for specific details, labour rates and factory ancillary products Work to deadlines in preparing estimates from performance specifications, proposals, drawings, bills of quantities and budgets Key Skills/ Experience The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience of estimating in the roofing and cladding industry Good attention to detail and accuracy Computer literate with strong IT skills Numerically strong Strong communication skills Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets Be competent and work to deadlines Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:45pm & Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm Benefits: Discretionary profit share bonus scheme, private healthcare, pension, life insurance benefits
