EV Engineer

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage small to mid-sized electrical projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, encompassing installation, testing, and commissioning tasks. Key Responsibilities: Leading the successful delivery of small to medium electrical projects. Working closely with the Project Engineer to coordinate labour and materials, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Interpreting and implementing job-specific method statements and risk assessments. Supervising subcontractors to ensure high standards of performance on-site. Conducting site safety audits to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborating effectively with site engineers and key stakeholders. Visiting project sites to assess work quality and attending site meetings to align with client requirements. Engaging with suppliers to obtain material quotes and efficiently handling purchase orders. Ensuring installations are completed to a high standard, fully tested, and commissioned. Providing as-built drawings, test records, and completion documents to support the creation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals. Conducting site surveys to gather essential details for accurate project quotations. Requirements: Essential: Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within industrial or commercial settings. Hold a 2391 or 2394/5 qualification with a solid understanding of condition reporting. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. Level 3 qualification in Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations. Desirable (but not required): C&G 2921-31: Design & Installation of Domestic and Small Commercial EV Charging Systems. C&G 2921-32: Design & Quality Assurance of Large-Scale EV Charging Installations. C&G 2921-33: Installation & Maintenance of Large-Scale EV Charging Systems. C&G 2921-34: Level 3 Award for Design & Installation of Domestic and Small Commercial EV Charging Systems.
