Job Summary : We are looking for a passionate Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our growing tech team at an early-stage technology company. You will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling modern web platforms, working with both Python (Flask/FastAPI) on the backend and React on the frontend. As a lead, you will play a pivotal role in technical leadership, driving product development, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop high-performance and scalable web applications using Python (Flask/FastAPI) for the backend and React for the frontend. - Lead end-to-end development, from initial planning and architecture to final deployment and maintenance of web platforms. - Develop and optimize backend systems with an emphasis on event-driven programming, distributed systems, and data modeling for transactional systems. - Implement caching and in-memory computing systems (e.g, Redis, Memcached) to improve performance. - Build and maintain APIs that support front-end and mobile applications with a focus on security, scalability, and performance. - Take ownership of frontend development using React, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and smooth user experiences. - Implement complex UI components, manage application state, and optimize performance. - Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and scalability of the frontend application across a wide range of devices and browsers. - Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering an environment of growth, innovation, and continuous learning. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliverables. - Take initiative in solving complex technical problems and identifying ways to improve software quality and architecture. - Use object-oriented analysis and design principles to build software components that meet the defined business and technical requirements. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and follow best practices for version control, testing, and continuous integration. - Continuously optimize both backend and frontend applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability. - Debug and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, ensuring both the frontend and backend are highly efficient and reliable. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices across the team. - Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in full-stack development, Python, React, and web application architecture. - Drive the evolution of our technical stack and infrastructure to meet growing product demands. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 4-6 years of experience as a full-stack developer with hands-on expertise in both backend (Python, Flask/FastAPI) and frontend (React). - Strong understanding of event-driven programming, distributed systems, and experience with data modeling for transactional systems. - Expertise in React : Experience building user interfaces using React.js (hooks, state management, component design). - Proficiency in Python, with deep knowledge of frameworks like Flask or FastAPI to build fast and scalable web applications. - Proficient in data structures and algorithms, and strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL). - Experience with version control systems (e.g, Git). - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc. - Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs. - Experience in deploying and maintaining applications using modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). - Knowledge of unit testing frameworks for both backend and frontend (e.g, PyTest, Jest, Mocha) (ref:hirist.tech)
