Senior MuleSoft Architect - Anypoint Platform

Job Title : Senior MuleSoft Architect. Location : [Insert Location or "Remote"]. Job Type : [Full-time / Contract / Hybrid]. Experience Level : 8 years (with at least 3 years in MuleSoft). Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Senior MuleSoft Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system integration, API management, and architecture principles, with hands-on experience in delivering enterprise-level Responsibilities : - Define and own end-to-end MuleSoft-based integration architecture. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand integration needs and translate them into solutions. - Design and develop APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. - Establish and enforce best practices for API design, security, scalability, and performance. - Lead and mentor a team of MuleSoft developers and integration engineers. - Provide technical oversight throughout the full software development life cycle (SDLC). - Work closely with enterprise architects to align integration strategies with business goals. - Conduct code reviews, and performance tuning, and troubleshoot complex issues. - Develop reusable assets, templates, and components to accelerate integration development. - Manage deployment and configuration of MuleSoft runtimes (CloudHub, On-prem, Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience with 3 years as a MuleSoft Architect. - Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 4.x, and API-led connectivity. - Experience with RAML/OAS, DataWeave, MUnit, and MuleSoft connectors. - Deep understanding of SOA, Microservices, and Integration Patterns. - Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines related to MuleSoft deployments. - Experience with security standards and practices (OAuth2, SAML, SSL/TLS, etc. - MuleSoft certification(s) preferred (MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect / Platform Architect). - Excellent communication and leadership skills. Nice to Have : - Experience with other integration platforms or middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, Apigee, Tibco, etc. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and API gateways.
