Contract Role 6 Months £38.90Inside IR35 Burghfield Full time site based role 66 hours - 11 shifts on, 3 shifts off For each day travelled to site, a £100 per diem is payable to workers travelling more than 30 miles to site. Workers must have CSCS/ECS card prior to starting. Candidates must also be eligible for SC clearance due to the nature of the role The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Technician to join a leading Nuclear project based at the Burghfield Site. Job Purpose To undertake installation activities in accordance with their training, best practice and trade/legal standards. Job responsibilities To participate in the planning and preparation of works including production of RAMS. To carry out work in accordance with the work packs and best practice and applicable trade/legal standards. To comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area. To carry out safety and behavioural observation. To comply with quality requirements of the work pack. To not proceed past a hold point. To report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other problems to their line manager. Any other task/duties, commensurate with the Role Holder's competency, as directed by the Line Manager. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Site Installation experience (preferred) in Nuclear Industry/Power Generation Level 3 Qualification (e.g. Recognised Training Scheme or Apprenticeship) appropriate to their trade.
