This organization will help McDonalds to better leverage our scale and unlock sustainable value for our company and communities. We are transforming our Indirect Sourcing and Procurement capabilities, processes, solutions, and ways of working to create One McDonalds Way of buying Indirect goods and services responsibly. This role presents an exceptional career opportunity to be a part of this journey as the Sourcing Lead across Financial Services, Travel, HR Services, Print & Courier and other Corporate Support. This role is a critical leadership position and will own the end-to-end global Sourcing capability, supporting McDonalds in its journey to becoming a Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement leader. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Support Sourcing, the role is responsible for development of sourcing strategy for global Financial Services, Travel, HR Services, Print & Courier and other Corporate Support, focused on maximizing McDonalds investments via best-in-class sourcing across these areas. It is expected that this role works closely with Global executive stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide recommendations, and drive innovation to ultimately propel the business forward. This role will also play a key role in applying global category strategies and sourcing standards across all categories in support of local (in-country and regional) sourcing and procurement requirements. Key responsibilities will include (1) setting the Sourcing team strategy, roadmap, goals and metrics; (2) leading the team in developing and socializing strategic category plans; (3) developing and managing relationships with key vendors; (4) serving as an ambassador for the Indirect Sourcing & Procurement team; and (5) identifying team training and growth opportunities to elevate best-in-class status. Who were looking for: Key Responsibilities: Lead Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for sub-categories within Financial Services, Travel, HR Services, Print & Courier and other Corporate Support ensuring alignment with the broader business goals and objectives of McDonalds. Strategic Sourcing: Competitively source through engagement of strategic suppliers (i.e., RFx) and application of industry knowledge. Ensure all sourcing projects have clear objectives including financial and operational benefits, as aligned with business stakeholders. Team Support & Development: Guide and mentor a high-performing sourcing team, setting clear goals, providing development opportunities, and fostering a culture of excellence. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to understand business needs and create tailored sourcing strategies that deliver value across the McDonalds global organization. Category Leadership Support: Lead the development and execution of strategic category plans, identifying opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process optimization within the sub-categories. Savings Identification & Tracking : Accountable for driving annual savings within the category through leveraging market intelligence analysis. Includes the identification of savings opportunities & valuation and ongoing monitoring / reporting of saving initiatives (e.g., by vendor / category). Negotiation & Contract Management: Support negotiations to ensure favorable contract terms that meet business requirements and assist with the negotiation and execution of complex agreements and SLAs. Drive Innovation: Contribute to sourcing initiatives that drive innovation, cost savings, and operational efficiency in line with the company's broader business strategies. Risk & Compliance Management: Partner with Enterprise teams to ensure sourcing strategies and supplier relationships align with McDonalds compliance requirements and risk management frameworks. Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement efforts, evaluating sourcing processes, performance metrics, and benchmarks to optimize sourcing outcomes. Performance Motivation: Assist in identifying training needs and growth opportunities within the team, ensuring the development of future sourcing leaders and building a best-in-class function. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Minimum 4-year degree, MBA preferred 7 years of relevant experience in sourcing in a highly complex environment and Global landscape 3 years experience leading teams and managing multiple projects Skills: Strategic Thinking, Executive Presence / Communications, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, Advanced Sourcing, Contracting Knowledge, Mentoring and Coaching, Project Management Experience in conducting influential discussions with executive leaders Work location: Hyderabad, India Work hours: Work pattern: Full time role.
