Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical-Surgical/Neuro Shift: Days / 6:30a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOH Length: 13 weeks Weekend/Holiday Requirement: 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule Requirements: IN RN or Compact License Minimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience required 1 travel assignment required Trauma level II experience required Skillset: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessements, basic tele interpretation, strict I’s & O’s/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain managemen, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.) AHA BLS AHA ACLS NIHSS Recent EPIC experience required Other details: First to float within skillset Unit Information: 37 beds. Ratio: Days 1:5-6; NOCs 1:5-7; CN takes partial patient assignment Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients – CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, post-op cranis, cerebral angiogram.
