Capital Year-End Accountant

We are working on a Capital Year-End Accountant position with our client based in a Local Authority, to support their year-end. Location: Southwest England Set-up: Remote Rate: £500/day via umbrella, inside IR35 Duration: Initial 4-month contract Hours: Full-time position Responsibilities include: Working with officers to prepare and deliver 2024/25 year-end capital accounting and audit requirements (working papers) Working with officers to review current processes and procedures, update and amend as required Assist with the implementation of IFRS16 as required Require an experienced (local government only) capital accountant who has led the closure of accounts for capital (including making all adjustments) Requirements: An experienced (local government only) capital accountant who has led the closure of accounts for capital (including making all adjustments) At Venn Group, we endeavour to respond to all applications However due to the volume of applications we receive, if you have not heard from us within 48 hours please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion
