Role | Regulatory Lawyer (Advocacy) Areas | Legal advocacy, case preparation, fitness to practise hearings Tech | Case management systems, MS Office Based | London Remote | Hybrid Offer | Competitive salary - 3 months temporary (can be extended) Hi Our client, a prominent regulatory body in the professional services sector, is looking for an experienced Regulatory Lawyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with advocacy experience to make a significant impact in a fast-paced regulatory environment. As a Regulatory Lawyer, you will: Represent the organisation in fitness to practise hearings and related proceedings Manage the preparation and presentation of complex cases, ensuring high standards and timely resolution Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression Provide guidance and supervision to junior legal colleagues, including Paralegals Contribute to the development of legal policies and procedures within the organisation Stay updated on relevant legal developments and regulatory best practices What we’re looking for: At least 3 years’ PQE as a Solicitor or Barrister (or equivalent experience) Strong experience in legal advocacy and case management within a regulatory context Ability to handle sensitive, complex cases with professionalism and confidence Experience working with fitness to practise procedures or similar regulatory processes Proven ability to manage a varied caseload while ensuring quality and timeliness Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively A proactive approach to legal supervision and development of junior team members
