Description The Commercial Solicitor will be:? Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including IT agreements.? Providing comprehensive legal advice to stakeholders across the organisation.? Assisting with procurement processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.? Advising on consumer law matters relevant to the retail industry.? Managing litigation cases and coordinating with external counsel as needed.? Ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance standards and company policies.? Developing and updating internal policies and procedures to reflect current legislation. Profile The Commercial Solicitor should be:? A solicitor or equivalent with 4 years PQE.? Experienced in general commercial law, particularly in handling IT contracts.? Proficient in providing legal advice within a corporate environment.? Knowledgeable about consumer law and regulatory compliance in the retail sector.?
