L/Derry Salary up to £40,000 This is your opportunity to a leading supplier into the construction industry who are seeking for Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to join their successful team on a permanent full-time basis. Duties Monitor the performance of suppliers and products Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies. Monitor shortages and procurement of stock to meet market demands. Monitor POs Prepare reports for senior management meetings Forecast future demand in order to ensure availability of supplies at all times. Communicate with suppliers Conduct industry and market research to forecast price trends Maintain stock levels Source, Coordinate and schedule receipt of raw materials Negotiate purchase prices, contracts and supply agreements. Other adhoc duties About you 3 years experience working within a similar role gained within a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficient with MS packages Skills: supply chain logistics procurement
