Job Title - Embedded Software Engineer Location – Nice, France Type: Freelance/Contract Language required: English Mandatory skills Mastery of low-level programming languages: C, C++, allowing the efficient development of embedded and real-time applications. Experience in version management with GIT and GitLab, ensuring rigorous monitoring of developments and effective team collaboration. Development skills on real-time embedded operating systems such as VxWorks, or equivalent such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr OS and Xenomai, ensuring the design of high-performance solutions adapted to real-time constraints. Expertise in firmware development, including the implementation of low-level features and performance optimization for critical embedded systems. Experience in software validation and testing, with the drafting of technical specifications and the implementation of functional tests to ensure the reliability of the solutions developed. Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP, or equivalent such as Profinet, CAN, MQTT and CoAP, facilitating the interconnection of embedded equipment with industrial and IoT networks. Description of the mission Design and develop low-level firmware and software for real-time systems embedded on programmable logic controllers. Develop in VxWorks, ensuring optimal performance and high reliability. Participate in the implementation of low-level functionalities and the optimization of the performance of embedded systems. Write and update technical specifications and ensure the development of functional tests to validate embedded software. Ensure the integration and communication of systems by mastering industrial protocols (with Modbus, Ethernet/IP ) Collaborate with the hardware, software and validation teams to ensure the interoperability and robustness of the solutions developed.
