Job Description

What you will do As a Supplier Development Manager at Johnson Controls Monterrey Plant, you will be responsible for enhancing supplier performance through strategic initiatives and engagement. This role involves direct collaboration with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost effectiveness in alignment with company objectives. You will drive continuous improvement programs to optimize supplier capabilities and establish robust relationships. How you will do it Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement performance improvement plans. Conduct regular assessments and audits of supplier operations to ensure adherence to quality standards. Facilitate training and development programs for suppliers to enhance their operational efficiencies. Lead cross-functional teams to address supplier-related issues and implement corrective actions. Analyze supplier performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering projects with suppliers to enhance competitiveness. What we look for Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience in supplier management or development. Proven track record of implementing supplier development programs. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in performance metrics. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple suppliers effectively.
