Hospitals and manufacturers today are stuck with outdated processes, bloated sales structures, and unstructured data. We're fixing this — with modern tech. Our platform will streamline procurement, inventory forecasting, and product matching for hospitals and suppliers. We’re funded with €2.2M, already partnered with key industry players, and have a working prototype. Now we’re hiring our first engineer to build and scale the MVP — and grow into the CTO role. Your Role As our Founding Engineer, you’ll be hands-on in shaping the product from the ground up, working closely with the founding team and pilot customers. Tasks What you’ll do: Build the MVP based on an existing prototype (Python Streamlit) Lead backend (Node.js or FastAPI) and frontend (React Next.js) development Scale the DB architecture (PostgreSQL → AWS migration) Implement product substitution logic in the ordering system Set up lightweight transactional systems (email-based or queue-driven) Build CSV import/export tools and ERP integrations (e.g., SAP, HIS) Ensure compliance with GDPR and MDR for EU rollout Work closely with pilot hospitals and iterate fast Requirements What We’re Looking For 5-10 years of experience as a full-stack engineer Experience building and shipping SaaS products or marketplaces Pragmatic and self-driven — you know how to go from messy prototype to solid product Strong hands-on experience with: Node.js or FastAPI React Next.js PostgreSQL, AWS, API integrations CSV handling, transactional email systems Passion for structured data, product modeling, and taxonomy Bonus: Comfortable using AI tools like Cursor or Copilot Benefits What You’ll Get A competitive salary: up to €100,000 Founder-level equity: 0.75% VSOP at €2M valuation Real ownership of early product architecture A fast path to becoming CTO in early 2026 Collaboration with experienced, no-politics founders Flexible work setup: Hamburg-based but remote-friendly within CET We might be open for other tech stacks and profiles.
