Mon to Fri Regular office hours Overtime available and call out at 1 in 6 with £standby and call out payment Excellent training available - role best suits a skilled Handyperson looking to gain Electrical Qualifications Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers, we are looking to recruit a capable and ambitious "Handyperson" who is well versed within general building maintenance and facilities tasks, with a strong interest in developing electrically, and gaining electrical qualifications Here, you would work with other engineers on the client site in Bristol city centre. The customer are a corporate bank, and this facility is a key corporate office. This is a modern, pleasant and clean environment to work, where you will complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including both facilities jobs and traditional building maintenance Once established in post, and comfortable with the site, you would be put through an electrical training course, and would go on to gain your qualifications For this, we would need you to have a strong drive and ambition to make the most of this opportunity Actions will include: Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks, such as Water Tap Temperature checks, Emergency Light testing, fire alarm tests Complete manual repairs, such as door fixes, minor plumbing, painting & decorating Support skilled engineers on various jobs Supervise visiting sub contractors Ensure Health & Safety is followed to at all times Complete training Fill out paperwork accurately We need from you: Clear experience within building maintenance, an interest in Electrics and ambition to upskill electrically
