Science Teacher Position – Permanent Contract

An international school in Madrid is looking for a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join the team for the upcoming academic year. This is a full-time, permanent position. Role: Inspire curiosity and foster critical thinking, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts through inquiry-based learning. Develop students' understanding of the natural world and apply scientific principles to real-life situations. Responsibilities: Design lessons that align with the MYP science curriculum. Promote inquiry-based learning by encouraging students to ask questions, investigate, and experiment. Support the development of critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Facilitate hands-on experiments and investigations. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring laboratory safety. Requirements: Degree in Science. Master’s in Secondary Education Teaching. Experience teaching science at the secondary level, including biology, physics, and chemistry. C2 level English proficiency. Basic skills in using educational tools. Ability to implement diverse teaching strategies. Passion for project-based learning and experience in IB methodologies. Strong expertise in both pedagogy and subject matter. Effective classroom management skills. What We Offer: Permanent contract. Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday.
