Goldmills are exclusively recruiting for an experienced account manager in the events industry to join a well know fast growing events company based in Essex. Events Account Manager £32,000 - £35,000 PA Essex CM6 Hybrid position Due to business growth and on-going new business wins we are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team and take responsibility for managing clients as well as overseeing the delivery of events. If you want to join a fabulous agency team where you will be fully supported and can really start to expand your experience working on some fantastic accounts then this is the role for you. This is a Monday to Friday role from 9am to 5.30pm each day with Fridays work from home day. Our client is already well known agency in the events industry with fantastic clients/events across the world. Key Responsibilities ? Managing key accounts ? Work closely with clients to grow the accounts organically and ensure a smooth ongoing relationship. ? Developing further account growth and identifying new business opportunities ? Supporting on, organising and delivering a variety of events ? Full event logistics including travel and accommodation booking ? Venue finding ? Supplier and third party liaison and negotiation ? Budget management and cost tracking ? On-site event support ? Report to both Directors daily with activity and updates on progress ? Attend client meetings or presentations where appropriate ? Attend various FAM trips to develop knowledge both in the UK and internationally ? Keep abreast of industry news and trends, any key locations to focus on or avoid, any new openings etc. The Candidate - Skills and Personal Qualities ? Previous venue finding / events industry experience and working on pitches/proposals and bids. ? You will ideally have experience of working within an agency environment with strong client account management background. ? You will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and be able to perform well under pressure. The ability to work on multiple projects at any one time. ? Driven and ambitious, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion to really contribute and make a difference to the team. ? Have a passion for the industry with an enthusiastic attitude ? Excellent written and oral communication skills ? Have the ability to self-manage work load and time effectively ? Have a creative flare ?
