Quantity Surveyor Location: Reigate, Surrey (Flexible Working Available) Salary: Up to £50,000 benefits (DOE) Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established and growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in Reigate, is looking to appoint a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a medium-sized contractor known for delivering high-quality infrastructure, groundworks, and enabling works across the South East. With a healthy project pipeline—most projects based in Central London—and a supportive team environment, this role offers real scope for professional growth and development. The Role: Responsible for the commercial management of civil engineering and groundworks projects Assist in tender preparation, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration Monitor project costs, variations, and progress reports Prepare and manage valuations, final accounts, and cost reporting Liaise closely with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners Requirements: Around 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within civil engineering or groundworks Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred) What’s on Offer: Competitive salary up to c. £50,000 (depending on experience) Company benefits package Flexible working options Career development opportunities A collaborative, friendly team culture This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who’s looking to work with a dynamic contractor making a real impact in the industry.
