Electrician/Approved Electrician Our team at Peterhead Power Station work on looking after all electrical works at the station as below – Maintenance / New install / Testing & Inspection. Containment / wiring / repairs / fault finding / testing & inspection.Site: Power Station Duration: 3 months Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-16:00pm & Friday 7:30am-12:30pm (37 hours) Pay: CIS Rate: TBC Start: ASAP In a typical day, you could expect to be: Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities within the power station premises. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all times. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to achieve project objectives. No regular out of hours but could be if required. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any discrepancies or concerns. What do I need to be successful in the role? City & Guilds SVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation 18th Edition ECS/SJIB Gold Card Experience of testing including EICR Current IEE wiring regulations qualification 18th Edition Be familiar with current H&S legislation and site requirements In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and regulations Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
