Job Title: MIG Welder Location: Swadlincote Shifts: Days only. Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (3:00pm on Friday) Hours per week: 39 Base Duration: Contract - 6 months Start date: End of April Rate: £20ph PAYE / £26.20ph Umbrella What's in it for you? They specialise in heavy welding and fabrication with a variety of different projects. Job Overview: We require an experienced welder to get involved in the welding of large mild steel projects. You will be working with plate from 20mm to 50mm thickness. All projects will be prefabricated, and it will be your duty to complete the welding before final inspection. Person Profile / Experience: Must have experience in welding of large-scale mild steel projects Deep understanding of technical drawings Experience welding with MIG in Fillet Multi-Runs Experience of working with heavy plate No formal qualifications required - experience considered Own weld mask expected as contract role Will consider candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds providing they have experience in heavy fabrications/ structural work. There will be a weld test - Fillet Multi-Run
