Job Title: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Location: Washwood Heath, Birmingham Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time until at least July 2025 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 3:30 pm Monarch Education is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join an Ofsted Outstanding nursery school in Washwood Heath, Birmingham. This role is perfect for a compassionate and energetic individual who is passionate about Early Years Education and ready to take on the responsibility of caring for young children in a supportive and nurturing environment. The role will involve working with young children across the nursery, including providing personal care such as nappy changing, toileting assistance, and supporting children's overall well-being. You will play a key role in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow and thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care for children, including nappy changing, toileting assistance, and supporting with meals, ensuring that all children's individual needs are met. Plan and deliver engaging activities to promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development in line with Early Years standards. Support children's social, emotional, and physical development, encouraging positive behaviours and fostering a caring and supportive atmosphere. Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and partnership working. Monitor and record children's progress, milestones, and achievements, providing updates to parents and colleagues. Ensure that the safety and well-being of all children is maintained at all times, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety guidelines. Requirements: Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting. Comfort and experience in providing personal care, including nappy changing and assisting with toileting. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with children, colleagues, and parents. A genuine passion for child development and providing a safe, nurturing environment for young children.
