Senior System Engineer

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with hands on Cisco-Meraki experience looking to join a growing IT team in Bridgend? You’ll be responsible for managing the delivery of IT projects, lead and participate in the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems as well as mentoring and coaching junior team members. What you’ll be doing day to day… Manage and optimize Cisco Meraki network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, APs) Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support to the 1st and 2nd line teams Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure upgrades, rollouts, and automation Maintain documentation and change control procedures Coach and mentor junior members, ensuring them to develop their skills and careers About you… You will have strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki technologies (firewalls, switches and wireless) You will have strong troubleshooting skills You will be familiar with IT service management frameworks like ITL or ISO-27001 You will have solid knowledge of Office 365, Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint and Teams This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a multi-faceted tech environment, you will be someone who enjoys problem solving and has a passion for secure, scalable infrastructure.
