Finance Apprentice

LNT Holdings Ltd are looking for a Finance Apprentice to join the team. The Finance Apprentice will assist senior members of the team in the day-to-day finance activities. This will include supporting the Financial Controller to ensure that the Division maintains accurate financial records, financial transactions are promptly and accurately processed, and high-quality financial information is provided to the business in a timely manner. The role will also require building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as external clients. Key responsibilities: Produce all sales invoices and sales orders in a timely manner Work closely with colleagues in the wider business to gather the information required for invoicing and payment terms agreed Ensuring that customer balances are paid on time by generating weekly statements and chasing outstanding debt in an appropriate manner Maintaining and reviewing of aged debtors reporting by producing an analysis of outstanding money and categorising them by outstanding periods Completion of daily bank reconciliations Be the first point of contact for the Finance team in respect of answering customer telephone and email queries Control over company credit card reconciliations, ensuring these are completed and signed off monthly Filing and administrative duties Ad-hoc administrative and transactional duties to assist the Financial Controller with some exposure to financial analytics supported by Finance Controller.
