Packhouse Manager

An agricultural business is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Packhouse Manager to lead and optimise their production department in the Western Cape In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising a diverse team, planning daily operations, and ensuring all packing meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your day-to-day will include monitoring fruit volumes, managing resource allocations, and overseeing the correct usage of packing materials and procedures. Youll also coordinate closely with production line supervisors to address any issues with fruit quality, sizing, and labelling. Candidates should have extensive experience in fruit packhouse management, with solid problem-solving skills, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in MS Office. A minimum educational requirement is Matric (a qualification in agricultural production management would be beneficial).
