Cloud Architect

Job Description We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Architect to join our Data Analytics & Automation Platforms team in the Global Digital Factory Division in GOSP Generali. The Cloud Architect will lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring scalable, efficient cloud solutions. This role involves managing complex environments and coordinating with various teams to achieve technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services Develop, manage, and standardize CI/CD processes for diverse applications and languages, automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Oversee and support customer environments in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), adhering to IaC best practices Lead and coordinate development teams to ensure modular design, scalability, performance, and operability Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules for efficient IaC deployment Build and sustain highly available systems on Kubernetes or similar infrastructural frameworks Maintain and develop systems using native serverless services of respective cloud platforms Expertise in Git versioning tools (e.g., GitLab, AWS CodeCommit) Automate routine tasks to enhance efficiency and consistency Requirements Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: At least 4 years of working experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Terraform Strong background in Linux/Unix administration Strong background in Software Engineering Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, or similar Experience with Docker and Virtualization Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Terraform Experience in Agile methodologies and practices Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocols and processes with the team and management Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability Senior Level Expectations: Manage and optimize existing infrastructure Coordinate effectively with internal and external teams, overseeing multiple aspects of the project and infrastructure Provide leadership and direction in high-stakes environments Demonstrate advanced technical proficiency and decision-making skills Company Profile Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
