An independently owned traditional country pub which has seen significant refurbishment, investment and growth since April 2019. We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team and support our Head Chef. We offer a good rate of pay depending on experience, ability and enthusiasm. Full-time role available. Job Role Ensure our kitchen is always fully compliant with relevant regulations inc. allergens, health & safety and food hygiene Collaborate with our Head Chef to foster and build on our reputation for quality, home cooked, locally sourced food Be able to competently work all sections of the kitchen Cover our Head Chef during days off Ideal Candidate Reliable Creative without the ego Honest Someone that takes their work seriously, but not themselves Professional and polite Team player Good ethics Flexible Experience of cooking for an independently owned business (preferred, but not essential) The benefits and perks Permanent, full-time contract, 40/50 hours per week over 4/5 days with guaranteed hours to plan your week around Good rate of pay depending on experience, ability and enthusiasm Company pension .
