Senior Associate Solicitor/Partner – Employment Law Location: Newbury Job Type: Full-time or Part time, Permanent Competitive Salary Benefits Career Progression The Firm A well-established and respected high street law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor or Partner to lead its Employment Law department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the firm’s succession planning , managing and growing the practice for the future. The Role As a Senior Associate or Partner , you will take on a leadership role within the firm, handling a wide range of employment law matters while contributing to the strategic direction of the practice. Your responsibilities will include: Advising employers and employees on all aspects of employment law , including contracts, settlement agreements, redundancies, TUPE and workplace disputes Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters , including tribunal claims Developing client relationships and driving business development to grow the department Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors and support staff Contributing to the firm's long-term succession planning and strategic growth About you 8 years’ PQE with a strong background in employment law, ideally gained in private practice Experience handling complex employment disputes and providing strategic advice to businesses and individuals A commercial mindset , with an ability to develop and retain clients Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior staff A commitment to playing an integral role in the firm’s future development and growth A following or strong local client connections would be an advantage but is not essential What’s on Offer?
