Job Description

Transport Continuous Improvement Engineer Your Role We are seeking a Transport Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to support continuous improvement initiatives, optimize and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a background in lean methodologies. Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English are essential. Key Responsibilities: Support the continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs. Evaluation and enhancing the Distribution network to ensure optimal coverage, service quality, and cost-effectiveness. Work and optimize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to improve Distribution management, scheduling, and operational control. Develop lean methodologies to boost productivity, minimize waste, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Support design and optimization of facility layouts to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in Logistics & Transport Companies, in Business Process Excellence project. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar quality management frameworks would be a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in team and on multiple projects simultaneously.
