CNC Machinist

Job Description Job Description Aerotek is looking to hire several CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Machine operators to work for a well known company that manufactures Transmission parts in the Arlington area. Title : CNC Lathe Machinist/ CNC Machine Operator Pay : $21 -$30 an hour, depending on experience Location : Arlington, TX Job Description The CNC Machinist will set up and operate small turn and vertical turning lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, milling, and part complete operations. Responsibilities Optimize set-up times and maximize machine utilization. Understand task specifications by reading blueprints and route instructions. Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances. Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments. Set up CNC equipment to complete full cycles for high and low volume parts, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and inspect parts with precision. Follow the in-process part inspection process and notify the Supervisor/Lead of any non-conformance occurrences. Communicate with managers, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues Requirements: 2 years operating CNC Lathe machines in a manufacturing environment - including performing set ups Experience with 3-4 axis required Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
