CNC Machinist

Job Description Job Description Job Title: Senior CNC Machinist Job Description This position involves process improvements and verifying new blueprints. Quality control is crucial as everything built is made to order and machined in-house. The role requires collaboration with operators at each step to ensure the blueprints are functional. Responsibilities Improve processes and verify new blueprints. Ensure quality control throughout the machining process. Work closely with operators to ensure blueprints work effectively. Operate and manage two very large new Pama machines. Machine large cast iron frames and various other materials including steel, brass, iron, and bronze. Collaborate with Engineering to address problems and improve processes. Edit programs on machine controls, primarily brand-specific models. Lead and train new employees, as well as develop current employees. Essential Skills Experience with all machines, including 5-axis CNC mills and lathes with live tooling. Proficiency with manual grinders, drills, and Bridgeports. Ability to edit programs on brand-specific machine controls. Capability to read and interpret blueprints. Strong collaboration skills with Engineering for process improvements. Leadership abilities to train and develop employees. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Turning, Boring, and Milling (TBM) capabilities. Programming experience. Why Work Here?
