Job Description Job Description Now Hiring Factory Operators Clinton, IL Second shift Monday-Friday Job Description: Join a dynamic metal fabrication shop specializing in the production of metal roofing and siding for large buildings. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as operators to ensure smooth operations. Apply today Responsibilities Load raw materials and finish products in the metal fabrication process. Operate machines to produce trim for buildings. Load sheet metal into machines and ensure accuracy using a tape measure. Maintain visual quality standards and solve problems as they arise. Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50-60 pound sheet metal regularly. Prepare the frame of buildings by lifting products. Use a banding gun to palletize orders and attach straps to products. Bend, lift, and wrap products for shipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general production, assembly, and general labor. Loader and construction experience. Forklift operation and packaging skills. Work Environment The work environment is a metal fabrication shop that is not temperature controlled. Employees work on their feet all day, lifting and handling heavy materials. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
