Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mixer Operator Job Description The Blender Operator will be responsible for mixing and batching raw materials that go into dairy products. The day-to-day operations include filling materials, restocking products, and following instructions clearly. Responsibilities Mix and batch raw materials according to specific recipes and instructions. Fill and restock materials as needed. Work with templates to determine the mixes for the production line. Ensure accurate measurements and maintain attention to detail. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Operate machinery and ensure proper sanitation standards are met. Essential Skills Experience in production, mixing, and blending (1-2 years in a manufacturing environment). Strong math skills and calculator proficiency. Ability to lift 55 lbs. repetitively. Attention to detail and accuracy in following instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Blending or mixing experience is a plus (1-2 years). Work Environment This position operates in a food processing and packaging facility. The workspace is clean and well-organized. The shift is a 3rd shift position with 12-hour shifts from 6 pm to 6:30 am. The schedule alternates between three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the following week (36 hours & 48 hours). Flexibility on the rotating schedule is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elma, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.80 - $21.80/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
