Full Stack Engineer

Your role: Act-3D’s ecosystem includes legacy desktop applications and modern web-based solutions that cater to the architectural and 3D visualization industries. You will play a pivotal role in migrating our software systems to state-of-the-art architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless user experiences. You will engage in all stages of software development, from conceptualization to deployment and beyond. Main responsibilities: Develop and maintain .NET-based APIs for authentication, configuration, licensing, and interaction with cloud services. Implement and enhance the user interface using React, TypeScript, and Node.js. Design and maintain a scalable cloud architecture for storing and distributing several gigabytes of 3D assets. Ensure resilience, security, and efficient handling of large files, potentially incorporating CDN and caching strategies. Integrate best practices for automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code. Collaborate with product teams, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements and user expectations. Stay abreast of emerging web and cloud technologies to integrate relevant advancements into our systems. What you bring to the table: Proven experience as a Fullstack .NET Software Engineer or in a similar role for a minimum of 5 years. Proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem. Strong frontend development skills in React, TypeScript, and Node.js. Solid understanding of building and consuming Web APIs. Experience with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated architectural patterns. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and infrastructure automation tools. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of Dutch is preferred but not essential. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Background or interest in 3D software, architecture, engineering, or related domains is a plus. Ability to work in-person from our HQ in Sassenheim for 3-4 days a week minimum (this is not a remote position). What we offer: An attractive salary and bonus structure. Full-time contract.
