Learn more about us: www.nlighten.com About the Role We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Real Estate & Lease Management to support and execute our real estate strategy across Europe. This role will ensure that nLighten has the right real estate assets in the right locations to support its growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing leasehold assets, negotiating lease extensions and renewals, maintaining strong relationships with landlords, and supporting strategic real estate initiatives. The role requires a strong understanding of leasehold real estate, negotiation skills, and business acumen , combined with an entrepreneurial mindset. The position will be based in the Netherlands, with travel required to Frankfurt (and vice versa if based in Frankfurt). Key Responsibilities 1. Portfolio Management of Existing Assets Understand and manage existing leased properties, ensuring all lease agreements are up to date. Work closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to organize and maintain real estate portfolio data. Act as the primary point of contact for landlords and third-party agents , facilitating smooth lease management. Assist in negotiating lease extensions, renewals, and amendments as needed. 2. Real Estate Strategy & Market Analysis Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the European data center real estate market. Support expansion strategies by assessing potential new locations and lease opportunities. Engage with brokers, landlords, and local government authorities to facilitate real estate growth. 3. Transactional Support & Due Diligence Support due diligence processes for new acquisitions, lease transfers, and freehold purchases . Assist in reviewing leases, summarizing key financial terms, and identifying risks or opportunities. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Legal, Construction, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure real estate transactions align with business needs. Provide input for business models and investment committee presentations . Support internal corporate development initiatives focused on ensuring future capacity availability . What We’re Looking For 3 years of experience in real estate, preferably with leasehold and commercial property expertise. Strong understanding of the European real estate market , particularly in Germany and the Netherlands. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills , with experience working with landlords and brokers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive problem-solving ability, and a willingness to think outside the box . Experience in managing small renovation projects is a plus. Fluency in English & German is required Willingness to travel regularly between the Netherlands and Frankfurt. Why Join Us?
