Job Description
Join Novo Nordisk, as a Production Planner, where you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure we meet our production goals while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. The Position As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for collaborating on the site’s production and material procurement plans to optimize efficiency and achieve site targets. Your ability to manage inventory levels and address production scheduling challenges will be critical in supporting our operational performance. Furthermore, you will: Develop the monthly production plan setting up the most efficient schedule while fulfilling the required customer dates. Develop and manage inventory and stock levels through IT systems to align with established customer service levels while minimizing write-off costs. Collaborate with the master scheduler to proactively address and resolve short-term capacity issues affecting production. Release Production Orders and manage materials procurement by coordinating with suppliers to comply with agreed schedules. Ensure the accuracy of planning data entered into SAP and support the implementation of new planning systems, communicating effectively with customers. Analyse supply risks and notify stakeholders of any deviations from confirmed timelines, ensuring proactive solutions are in place to meet site metrics. Qualifications To be successful in this position you have a bachelor’s degree in management engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience (minimum of 1 year) in production working environments. We also welcome fresh graduates who are eager to succeed and grow in their careers as Production Planner. In addition, you have: Knowledge of production processes and planning methodologies. Fluent English & Italian, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Good knowledge of SAP system, particularly regarding planning processes and inventory management. About the Department You will be part of the Site Supply Chain department based in Anagni, Italy. You will be working on-site in Anagni, interacting with internal and external departments as well as national and international suppliers across world time zones.
