We are a growing team looking for a Senior Key Account Manager in our Milan office to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The Senior Key Account Manager owns the ongoing growth and success of our most strategic accounts. They will solely be responsible for engaging with C-Suite executives, expanding share-of-wallet and driving sennder adoption across customer organisations. These individuals are tasked with delivering a world class experience to Fortune 1000 customers and contributing directly to the top line growth of sennder. The ideal candidate has experience in managing complex stakeholder environments and a proven ability to sell to multinational companies. Their primary focus will be owning commercial relationships to develop joint goals and strategies, closing new expansion opportunities with sennder's existing customers. They are a collaborative leader, obsessed with driving customer success, and motivated by building and shaping the future of digital freight. WHAT YOU'LL DO Build relationships with C-Suite executives and key decision makers within customer organisations, leading critical conversations to expand business opportunities Develop and execute customer growth strategies to achieve revenue goals Facilitate RFP activities and manage negotiations resulting in sustainable economics for both parties Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate negotiations and the most complex customer conversations Analyze large data sets to identify areas of opportunity, influence decision makers, improve cost of service and increase retention Participate in strategic product roadmapping and sell that vision to our customers Increase overall tech adoption and implement integrations that increase operational efficiency (EDI, API) Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams such as Acquisition Sales, Account Operations, Partner Management, Pricing and Product to explore and lead customer projects. You will indirectly manage a large network of stakeholders dedicated to servicing your portfolio Project manage multiple work streams that ultimately help to elevate our customer's experience and add value to existing partnerships WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR … Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in end-to-end Enterprise sales and/or partnerships Experience selling into or partnering with large, complex enterprise brands and organizations Successful track record in logistics Account Management for strategic and growth-oriented customer portfolios. Road freight logistics Account Management or Sales experience is a plus. Strong commercial acumen (strategic thinking, active listening, negotiation skills, conflict resolution and problem solving) Customer-centric approach (expectation management, collaboration, strong relationship building & development, empathy and experience with customer retention) Ability to build strong relationships with different stakeholder levels and functions, and to manage senior stakeholders and executives Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities on your own, learn, and adapt quickly in a hyper-growth environment Excellent communication, presentation, time management and interpersonal skills Strong proficiency in English; another language is a plus but not required WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT… At sennder, we want to maximize the individual potential of all employees and reinforce an inclusive culture and environment of continuous learning that empowers people to succeed as a team.
